| The Model 610 is a PREMIUM flanged frame horizontal mount automatic exhaust ceiling shutter. It is designed to allow airflow in one direction and to prevent reverse airflow. The blades open with airflow and close by gravity when the fan shuts down. Ideal for use with whole house fans. The shutter comes standard with a Polar White Enamel Finish and is flush mounted for a clean appearance. Standard Construction: Frame: 1-5/8" deep x 1-5/16" flange x .062 Extruded Aluminum. Blades: 26 gauge 3105 Aluminum with a Galvanized Steel reinforcement strip and spring assist. Seals: Felt on leading edge of blades for tight closure and quiet operation. Tie Rod: Galvanized Steel for uniform opening and closing. Bushings: 304 Stainless Steel pivot pins and bushings. Construction: Staked corners. Mounting holes: 3/16" diameter. Finish: Polar White Enamel Finish. Sizes (see chart on submittal dwg. for std. sizes): Minimum: 16" W x 16" H Maximum: 50" W x 50" H Performance Criteria: 2250 FPM Maximum Velocity. 1" wg Maximum Pressure. 180 degree Maximum Temperature. Options: Mill Finish. Motor pack (Model MTR-610 - see submittal dwg.) Custom sizes available in whole inch increments. We recommend mounting the shutter at least 1/3 the fan diameter away from the fan blade. |
